Creating artist Nathan Fischer’s abstract landscapes is a manly endeavor. His work brings the material and techniques of sculpture, with the feeling of 2-dimensional painting. There is welding hammering and grinding. By heating the metal and applying chemical, the patina color is achieved, as done with bronze sculpture. The composition and colors take on the characteristic of canvas painting.
